My friend has a set of bedroom furniture circa 1920's Art Deco that needs refinishing.
All hand made and veneered stuff. A lot of curved surfaces
I know that before refinishing the old finish needs to go.
Because we're dealing with veneers, any major sanding is a no-no.
Any favorite stripping product suggestions out there?

Mon, March 28, 2005 - 12:10 PMHi RK,
I've found that I really like the citurs based strippers on the market, they're not nearly as toxic as the chem based ones and still seem to work very well. I think the one that I've used in the past is call Citra-Strip or something like that. If you're looking to restore the finish
Formby's has many different products that work well for fixing existing finish issues. -
